Hace pocos días en casa hicimos arepas de pollo, queso y aguacate para toda la familia. Probamos a hacer una salsa típica venezolana que nos encanta: Guasacaca. Como cunde un montón, la hemos podido probar con diferentes platos: Arepas, tequeños, tostadas de desayuno, causa limeña… y es que le va bien a todo! Además, al dejarla reposar un día o dos, tomó mejor sabor (truco importante) 😜

  1. 100 ml Aceite
  2. 40 ml Vinagre
  3. 1 Aguacate
  4. 1 Manojo Cilantro
  5. 1 Cebolla
  6. 2 Dientes ajo
  7. 1 Pimiento verde italiano
  8. Pizca sal
  9. 1 Guindilla (opcional)

Instructions to make to make Guasacaca

  1. Elegimos un aguacate maduro, pero no pasado, cortamos por la mitad y pelamos. Pelamos también la cebolla (tierna) y los dientes de ajo.
  2. Cortamos y desvenamos el pimiento y el chile. Yo le he puesto un pimiento italiano, pero podéis ponerle medio pimiento verde. En cuanto al picante, a gusto, desde no ponerle, hasta ponerle habaneros 🔥
  3. Llevamos todos los ingredientes menos el cilantro a la batidora y batimos bien, hasta obtener una crema ni muy espesa ni muy líquida. Añadimos el cilantro y batimos ligeramente, a golpes de 3 segundos, para que queden trocitos no muy grandes.
  4. Probamos y rectificamos de sal, vinagre, picante… Conservamos en un bote de vidrio en frío, aguanta varios días en la nevera (no si yo llego antes 😈).
  5. Acompañamos con tequeños 😍, arepas, asados, tostadas, verduras, patatas…
  6. ¡Importante! Estará más rica al día siguiente, cuando los sabores se asienten, así que preparadla con antelación.
